The USS Apollo (NCC-1725) was a Constitution-class Federation starship active in the late 23rd century.
The Apollo was commissioned in the San Francisco Fleet Yards and is on her first five-year mission. Her current commander is Captain Allister McGann.
This ship was used in Starfleet Academy bridge crew training simulations for the Class of 2288, and as such was "destroyed" in a simulated mission by the Miranda-class light cruiser, USS Tempest. (TOS video game: Starfleet Academy)
- This ship was seen in-game with the given name and registry number clearly written on her hull, in a simulated mission the game's expansion pack, Chekov's Lost Missions.
- Named after the Greek and Roman god Apollo, the archer-god of medicine and healing and also a bringer of death-dealing plague; as the leader of the Muses and director of their choir, he is a god of music and poetry.
