The Oritixx were a spacefaring race native to the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.

During his long Starfleet career, Dr. Mark Piper treated some Oritixx traders that had been rescued following the destruction of their merchant vessel. In thanks for his treatment, the traders presented him with a carving of a Baliba'an fertility goddess. (TOS novel: My Brother's Keeper: "Constitution").
