Jabara

Jabara was a Bajoran female who was a nurse in the Bajoran Militia and a member of Julian Bashir's medical staff on Deep Space 9 from 2369 until at least 2374.

Several months after Starfleet arrived on the space station, Jabara helped to treat Miles O'Brien and others who had been infected with an aphasia virus created by a cell of the Bajoran Resistance. (DS9 episode: "Babel")

In late 2370, Jabara helped treat Elim Garak, was suffering from the effects of continual use of an Obsidian Order implant. Jabara looked after Garak while Bashir visited Enabran Tain to get information on how to save Garak. (DS9 episode: "The Wire")

The next year, Jabara treated the passengers of a Bajoran ship who were injured when the ship was damaged and helped Bashir treat Bareil Antos. (DS9 episode: "Life Support")

Several months later, Jabara treated Bashir after he was left in a coma by a Lethean telepathic attack. (DS9 episode: "Distant Voices")

Jabara remained aboard DS9 when the war began and the Dominion took control. She was called by Jake Sisko to help Tora Ziyal, although Ziyal had been killed immediately by Damar's weapon. (DS9 short story: "Three Sides to Every Story")

Later that year, Jabara was on duty when Elim Garak called into the Infirmary looking for Doctor Bashir. (DS9 novel: A Stitch in Time)
