Darya Bat-Levi was a Lieutenant Commander in Starfleet in 2336. She had been severely injured on a mission in which her twin brother Joshua was killed. She used outdated prosthetics for the body parts she lost. She was assigned to the USS Enterprise-C in 2336 as operations manager and second officer. She began counseling sessions with Yuriel Tyvan, and began to accept the death of her brother. (TLE novel: Well of Souls)
